Try new 'life coaching' service for LGBT over 50s

18 May 2017

A new Connect Hackney project is offering a "life coaching" service for Hackney over 50s who are LGBT – lesbian, gay, bi or trans.

Life coaching is a kind of one-to-one personal support aimed at helping you to reach your goals. And the free service organised by our new Out and About project is specially tailored to the needs of LGBT people.

Organiser Katharine Collins says life coaching can be particularly useful for "anyone who has been through a transition in their lives, such as retirement, becoming a carer, recovering from an operation, breakdown of a relationship or death of a partner".

Life coaching can help individuals to deal with changes in their lives and to move in the direction they want to.

Why not give it a try? Get in touch with Katharine by phone on 020 8510 1963 or email  lgbt@hackneycarers.org.uk for more details.
